These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of US Address Generator, including the US and Hong Kong address generator pages (the “Site”). In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Site.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Site. You may use the Site only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law.
2. Description of the service
The Site provides fictional, synthetic address-format test data for lawful software testing, quality assurance, demos, form testing, localization testing, prototypes, and similar low-risk uses.
Generated records are not verified real-world data. They are not proof of a real address, residence, business presence, deliverability, identity, or eligibility, and they are not intended to identify real people, households, or businesses. A generated record may coincidentally resemble real-world information; that does not make it verified, deliverable, or suitable for real-world verification.
The current service is free, requires no login, and does not provide a paid plan, user account, virtual mailbox, mail forwarding, package receiving, registered office, public generation API, or identity-verification service.
3. No advice or official service
The Site does not provide legal, tax, financial, credit, insurance, government, immigration, postal, telecommunications, compliance, or other professional advice. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by USPS, the Hongkong Post, any government, bank, credit bureau, identity-verification provider, payment provider, delivery company, or other regulated service unless the Site expressly states otherwise with verifiable support.
Do not rely on generated data to make legal, tax, financial, compliance, eligibility, delivery, or identity decisions.
4. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms, you may use generated output for lawful internal testing, QA fixtures, product demonstrations, form and layout testing, localization testing, prototypes, education, and similar purposes that do not represent generated data as real or use it to obtain a real-world benefit, account, service, delivery, status, or verification.
You must comply with applicable law, contracts, platform rules, and third-party rights.
5. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Site or any generated data to:
- impersonate any person or entity, create a false identity or persona, or misrepresent identity, age, location, residence, domicile, business presence, address, or eligibility;
- complete, pass, bypass, evade, or attempt to defeat identity verification, KYC, age verification, proof-of-address checks, residency checks, account verification, fraud controls, sanctions controls, or similar safeguards, or use a real person’s information in testing without authorization;
- apply for, open, access, maintain, or obtain banking, credit, loans, payments, insurance, cryptocurrency, securities, tax, government, voter-registration, benefits, healthcare, education, telecommunications, utilities, marketplaces, delivery, or other regulated or eligibility-based services;
- use US output for tax filings, government forms, voter registration, residency claims, tax avoidance or evasion, location misrepresentation, or to bypass store, marketplace, payment, shipping, platform, or government rules;
- use Hong Kong output as proof of address, proof of residence, proof of business presence, a registered office, a company-registration address, or for immigration, telecom registration, company registration, tax filings, government forms, banking, credit, insurance, payments, KYC, or identity checks;
- receive, route, redirect, forward, collect, or claim mail, parcels, packages, deliveries, benefits, notices, or goods, or offer a mailbox, virtual-office, forwarding, pickup, return-address, or delivery service;
- commit or facilitate fraud, deception, phishing, impersonation, evasion of tax or platform rules, unauthorized account creation, abuse, harassment, infringement, or any unlawful act;
- create, request, infer, or combine generated data with Social Security numbers, HKID numbers, passports, driver’s licenses, government IDs, tax IDs, payment-card data, bank details, proof-of-address documents, company-registration documents, biometric data, credentials, or other identity or authentication artifacts;
- represent generated records as real, verified, official, accurate, deliverable, accepted, guaranteed, associated with a real person or business, or suitable for any real-world verification or transaction;
- probe, disrupt, overload, damage, interfere with, reverse engineer where prohibited, or circumvent security, access controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions of the Site; or
- scrape, automate, or access the Site at a harmful or abusive scale, or use output to build a service that enables any prohibited use above.
6. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your use of the Site and for any records you generate, download, copy, modify, combine, publish, or share. You must independently evaluate whether your intended use is lawful and appropriate. You must not expose another person’s sensitive information to the Site or combine output with personal data in a way that creates misleading, harmful, or regulated records.
If generated text overlaps with a real address, person, business, or other real-world information, stop using that record for any external or consequential purpose.
7. License for generated output
Subject to these Terms and to the extent the site operator holds any rights in generated output, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and export that output solely for lawful testing, QA, demos, prototypes, and other permitted uses described in Section 4.
This license does not grant rights to Site branding, source code, design, third-party materials, real-world data, or any person’s identity or property. It does not authorize a prohibited use, remove third-party rights, or guarantee that a particular output is eligible for copyright or other protection.
8. Abuse controls
We may limit, block, suspend, investigate, or take reasonable technical or legal measures against activity that appears abusive, unlawful, harmful, automated at an excessive scale, intended to evade safeguards, or inconsistent with these Terms. We are not required to provide advance notice when immediate action is reasonably needed to protect the Site, users, third parties, or security.
You may report suspected misuse to support@usaddressmaker.com. Do not include sensitive personal information in a report.
9. Third-party services and links
The Site relies on third-party infrastructure and services, including Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security and Plausible for audience measurement. The Site may also link to third-party websites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we do not control or endorse third-party content merely by linking to it.
10. Changes, availability, and termination
We may add, remove, modify, limit, or discontinue Site features or access. We do not promise that any feature, format, output, route, or free access will remain available indefinitely. We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and changing the effective date. Your continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. No warranties
The Site and generated output are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, deliverability, acceptance, official validity, and verification success.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that output will be unique, that output will not resemble real information, or that any person, platform, postal service, provider, or authority will accept generated data. Generated data must not be submitted to such services for real-world use.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, or service availability arising from or related to the Site, generated output, your use or misuse, inability to use the Site, or reliance on output.
The Site is free and does not state a fabricated monetary liability cap. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be waived, and those rights are not affected by these Terms.
